The Self-Stirring Cup

leave a comment »

Now you have one less thing to bother about when taking your tea or coffee – the spoon. With this cup you don’t need a spoon – because the cup stirs itself. This cup will mix its own drink with just a simple shake.

This unique cup uses a floating mechanism, which is supported by a ceramic ball that rests at the base. When you shake it, the ball and float move about to mix up your drink. When you go to take a sip, you’ll find both objects resting gently out of the way at the bottom of the cup.

This self-mixer’s cup is an innovative design invented by some French students.

Spoon Scales: The Intelligent Spoon

leave a comment »

We’ve finally reached the age. This is the age when you don’t have to guess what measure you have in your spoon. Let the spoon tell you itself. I mean, read it straight from the LCD of the spoon, be it grains, powder or liquid.

This Spoon Scale is simple and precise as it exactly weigh even the tiniest amounts down to the last 1⁄10 gram.

The LCD display (36 x 15mm/11⁄2″ x 2⁄3″) is easy to read, shows the exact weight down to 0.1g (0.005oz) and can be switched from grams to ounces. With option to weigh added ingredients. After use, hang your space-saving Spoon Scales on your utensil rail or place them within reach in a drawer.

Spoon made of black ABS plastic, handle in 18/10 stainless steel. Measures 23 x 5 x 2.5cm (9″ x 2″ x 1″) (L x W x H). Weight approx. 90g (3oz) including batteries.

This spoon is affordable at a price of £18.50. To order, click here.

Fagor TP-2006 X Flat Toaster: Make a Toast, Get a Burn

leave a comment »

The Fagor TP-2006 X Flat Toaster comes with a cool design. It doesn’t look ordinary. Besides, you can toast larger items on it. But then, you better be careful with it, for you may be asking for more than toasted bread if you fail to concentrate while using it.

Why now?
- The surface is lined with extremely hot wires that are very well exposed. There is no way to cover it except with the toast.
- You have to manually flip over your toast, as both sides cannot be heated at once.

This is definitely no toaster to be used by children or somnambulist adults.
