Blow-up Traffic Cone: Be Colourful Even In Breakdown

leave a comment »

Do away with the conventional C-Caution sign normally placed on the road when your vehicle breaks down and go for this classy and colourful traffic cone. I assure you, you will have no fear of being run over by vehicles passing your side of the road.

This traffic cone is even more effective than the standard – not only does it feature two reflective yellow bands – but it also lights up! and it blows up. They’ve really thought about this one! It’s inflatable, so when you don’t need it, it’s tucked beneath the seat or in the boot and when you do need it, it has a built-in hand pump that inflates it in seconds. The Emergency Traffic Cone features a sturdy base that resists movement. Even without the flashing red LED light – its super visible. But when you activate the LED – you’re ready for whatever the highway holds.

This nice gadget is available for $19.

Volkswagen Cars That Can Park Themselves Remotely

leave a comment »

The VW Park Assist Vision (PAV) will asset driver to remotely park their Volkswagen cars. The driver does not even need to be in the car. Apart from this, the Volkswagen PAV can park the car perpendicularly like in parking spots or in parallel as in along the street.

This means, if you can park in the tightest of spots, without worrying about how you are going to open your door to get out, because you won’t be in the car while doing the parking. This sounds exciting. This is the sort of things James Bond movies are made up.

The hardware involved includes ultrasonic sensors, electro-mechanical steering gear, and a 2GHz computer. Once the car is nice and ensconced in its spot, the engine shuts off and the doors are locked. All these will be done via remote control.
